Dutch Green was established in 1984 and its philosophy is based on the unique training of its owner, Nico van Stralen. Nico received his Diploma in Landscape Architecture and Management from the Rijks Middelbane Tuinbouw College in Utrecht, Netherlands. It was here that Nico developed his unique ability to combine original shape and form with functionality in natural settings and transformed his long time passion into a profession. Throughout his career in both the Netherlands and in Eastern Ontario, Nico has gained experience in urban design, recreational planning, estate landscaping, development, residential and natural landscaping.
